Target and Being Poor
// 11th March
When I was a child I would get teased for always wearing cheap Target brand clothing. Since then Target has wised up to the ‘cheap’ perception and started using generic-sounding made up brand names on their clothing.
Now that I’m an adult I’d never shop at Target. That stuff is way to expensive for me to afford.
On a related note; clothes shopping is awful. If anyone can tell me where one finds men’s formal or dress shirts that suit people of rake-like physique, please let me know ASAP.

Dan; I definitely know what it’s like to end up with crappy pants that are too big.
Hayo; I know, it’s killing me. My one collared shirt just isn’t enough. Damn this grown-up stuff.
Josh; Probably actually a very good idea.

A girl whom was named “best dressed” senior year got almost ALL her clothes at Target. Actually, I find their clothes to be very structurally sound compared to clothes from Meijer or KMart. This was 12 years ago, they’re still like that. Not sure how they were before my highschool years. Though, I do avoid the “nicer” fancier stuff from Target, that’s usually going to be crappy anywhere.

Also, I also hate clothes shopping. Particularly because of the smells. ESPECIALLY in the mall. Cologne suffocates me, srsly. It’s terrible.
We were poor too, but got our clothes from some neighbor girls as hand-me-downs and from the 2nd hand/thrift store. Somehow I was never teased about my clothes much; maybe 3-6 times in my whole school career.
