Just when I was about to fall to pieces, my birthday saved me.

Epicure’s Main Street, an absolutely fantastic album, though nowhere near as good as Goodbye Girl. Still, there’s a good few tracks on here that give me goosebumps (slash make me cry).
And as he’s watching her eyelids close in the T.V. glow
He can’t help thinking that
She’s a tightrope walker… and he’s the streets below.

Cover songs are often perceived as the slackers way to fame. Like A Version was inspired by the mission to snatch the cover back from the Shannon Nolls and Alien Ant Farms of this world and give it back some pride.
The best bit? I still have a hundred dollars worth of gift vouchers left over.

That was a great party but you should have shown us all that stuff when you got it, thats what these things are about. It’s not just an excuse to let your pyromaniac side come out. Thats still fun though!

There’s nothing wrong with covers… so long as you’re a cover or tribute band (or it’s for charity, then I don’t care if you’re singing jingles, at least the effort is there).
