My little sister was given a bag of hand-me-down clothing the other day. She went through and discarded every single top that revealed shoulders, or had spaghetti straps and whatnot. I’m so proud, this moment is right up there with Placebo’s Sleeping With Ghosts being the first album she ever bought.

Kris, she’s fourteen. Smack bang in the middle of the wearing-obscene-clothing stage that all of her friends are in (which makes the whole thing so much more admirable).

Yeah I’m hanging with my sister today, and she made me proud last night when we were watching “the biggest loser” by saying, “Seriously, who cares about fat people?”
