Coming Up For Air
A beautiful song.
everything in nature moves in waves
watch them extend out in every way
waves of fire sick with flame
waves of water form the ocean’s blame
just to see you go that way
lost from sight and then seen again
your one true wave
your one true way
it always takes you back to the same place
with every minute a mystery
every day was a tragedy
yeah all and every single one
and every minute i spent with you
another minute that i could use
to show you why our time was done
cause i lost you somewhere along the run
farewell the chance that you could be the one
try not to feel let down
get filled up with the pouring rain
or the the wind with its awful sound
or the sun with its simple shame
you know i always will see your face
and i always will say your name
yeah i’ll always remember you

that’s pretty good.
i’m still working on the art of writing, myself. i have yet to have written any lyrics…

hmm, writing lyrics. Well, for me it mainly just happens. Well, to basically write something that is just purely singable. A 4 line verse with 6/7 syllables with music in 4:4. Try and experiment.

I really wasn’t in the mood for that song.

You know what’s fun, going to purevolume or audiostreet, or some other site like that, and typing in a genre and downloading random stuff. You can find some pretty good bands that way.

Sin: whats more fun is listen to other people’s favorite music. that way the chance that the song is good is greater and you have to wade through alot less.

That’s not fun, the fun is in finding the good music, getting told something is good is lame, you might as well buy every cd associated with the top 40.
