Interest In Her

// 21st October

I figured I hadn’t made Tim look like enough of an idiot yet. He can really put his foot in it sometimes.

imveryverygood: hey why do babies pop out deformed if cousins “mate”?
stupid aquarium: because God doesn’t want cousins to mate
imveryverygood: happen to have a scientific answer?
stupid aquarium: something about genes and crap
imveryverygood: but anyway how did adam and eve populate the world if cousins weren’t supposed to get it on
imveryverygood: hell their children must have done it to make a few more people
stupid aquarium: adam and eve had a massive gene pool
imveryverygood: aha
imveryverygood: and we dont?
stupid aquarium: that’s right.
imveryverygood: cool
imveryverygood: on a tottally unrelated topic, i got an email from my cousin today

Next Birthday

// 20th October

Two converstaions I had with Tim at uni today.

Tim: Ahh, I’ve got soap in my eyes.
Tristan: How the hell have you got soap in your eyes?
Tim: I don’t have much practise at having showers.

Tim: Hey.
Tristan: …
Tim: Hey!
Tristan: What?
Tim: Look.
Tristan: …
Tim: It’s Pikachu!
Tristan: …
Tim: What?
Tristan: You’re twenty years old. Freak.

Question the Twelfth

// 19th October

There’s a typo in the material they sent us? I should write a letter to them and tell them to bleed themselves to death!

Australia v India second test was drawn.

Does anyone know where I can buy Mountain Goats CDs? I can’t find them anywhere.

Black Creek

// 18th October

So I sent my reevaluation forms in to Centrelink the other day – for the second time. The clowns had lost the first form, the third time they’d done it to me. Their system is very confusing, they calculate how much allowance I get based on what money I had available to me in the previous financial year, which seems to cause an infinite loop of hysterics.

But today I got a letter saying I had recieved a backpayment of over one thousand three hundred dollars, and my fortnightly allowance has been increased by almost fifty dollars. I’m damn happy with that. I might go and shout myself a CD.

Common People

// 16th October

I’ve been vomiting and clutching my stomach for the last three days. So much fun.

In far more exciting news, William Shatner has released an album, ironically titled Has Been. It’s produced by Ben Folds, which is cool, though it has delayed the release of Folds’ album a few months. So far I’ve only heard the track Common People, which I think is going to turn into a song I hate to love.

COBOL is Dead

// 13th October

You may remember that back in June I wrote a letter of complaint to my university about a certain subject and it’s teaching staff. Since then the subject has been entirely rewritten, and at least three other subjects have been partially rewritten.

The lecturer was fired yesterday.

I feel lethal.

Question the Eleventh

// 12th October

This year the exam marks don’t need to be moderated over all the campuses – campi – not to say that it means you’re all camp… though that could be the case.

- Lecturer Jim

Today is a scorcher, thirty three degrees celcuis at the moment. And Summer doesn’t even start for another two months.

I picked up The Flaming Lips’ Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, probably the first album I’ve purchased without hearing. It’s fantastic.
