Synchronised Saints
The Boondock Saints is a great movie, in a strange way. The F word is dropped about a zillion times and it is violent in many scenes, but overall it is a riveting movie. Very Matrix-like, humorous at the beginning and thought-provoking at the end.
“And shepherds we shall be, for thee my Lord for thee, power hath descended forthfrom thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out thy command. We shall flow a river forth to thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be. In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.”

Vice-Chancellors Message to all staff: Decision on HECS
You will recall that under the higher education reform package introduced last year, the Federal Government placed the responsibility on individual universities to set HECS charges from zero to a maximum 25 per cent above current levels.
After much careful consideration about access and equity issues, the University has decided to retain the current HECS fees level for 2005.
Yay. Need I say more.

My penguin is bleeding!
Update:
Okay, we’re having a competition. My best is 886.5 935.2. See if you can beat me (shouldn’t be too hard, I only tried about five thirty times) and then post your high scores.

Cascading Termination
I’m really not into music on screen, but there’s times when it’s called for. Ben Folds Five’s The Complete Sessions at West 54th are such times.

Is there anything that money can’t buy?
